| In 2002 the Rochester Builders Exchange presented Kurt Catalano with a Craftsmanship Award in recognition of exceptional craftsmanship for his work at Lincoln Hall in Ithaca, New York. Recently he completed the slate roof, standing seam roofing and decorative cornice work for a large addition to Lincoln Hall on the campus of Cornell University. Kurt shop fabricated over 10,000 lbs of custom lead coated cornice, standing seam roofing and siding for this project, as well as installing over 60,000 lbs of slate roofing. The slate was installed in graduated sizes in four colors and was quarried to match the slate on the original building exactly, a process that involved four separate quarries and nearly twelve months. Kurt culled all the slate onsite, (quality control process), and set aside nearly 30% of the delivered material as unacceptable. The end result is a beautiful roof that matches the original building perfectly and one that should last 75-100 years. |

|
| In 1972 The Rochester Builder Exchange presented
Patrick Bleier with a Craftsmanship Award in recognition of exceptional
craftsmanship for his work at Allendale-Columbia School in Rochester,
NY. The intricate aluminum ductwork for heating and air conditioning
is part of the decor of the building. The round and oval spiral
ducts are completely exposed to view and conforms to the open
architectural design of the building. Care had to be taken not to mar the soft aluminum in fastening the network of runs and returns because it was all exposed. Many architects have visited the building to see this unique design and is now a benchmark for many systems throughout the Rochester area. |

Rick Miller with a Craftsmanship Award in recognition of exceptional
craftsmanship for his work at Broome County Courthouse. There were
numerous problems involving intricate details with the copper of the
Courthouse Dome Reconstruction. In addition, Rick had the daunting
task of maintaining the historical structure of the facility. This project
involved removal, and recovering of existing copper cladding and
miscellaneous structural steel framing. There also was extensive
